Have you ever prayed and prayed, only to feel like God isn’t answering? You’ve asked for healing, direction, restoration, or simply the strength to face another day. But nothing changes. No answers. No breakthrough. Just silence. And somewhere in your heart, you begin wondering, “Lord, are You even listening?” Sister, even David wrestled with those feelings. In Psalm 13, he cried out to God, asking how long he would feel forgotten. But here’s what I love about David. He didn’t hide his questions from God. He brought them directly to Him. And by the end of the Psalm, David declares: 📖 “But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.” — Psalm 13:5 His circumstances weren’t described as suddenly changing. But he remembered the faithfulness of the God he trusted. Sister, sometimes prayers aren’t answered the way we hoped. Sometimes the waiting is painful, and we don’t understand why. But God’s apparent silence is not proof of His absence. You can have questions and still have faith. You can cry and still trust Him. And you can keep walking with God even when you don’t understand the road ahead. 🌸 A QUESTION FOR YOUR HEART: Have I allowed God’s apparent silence in one area of my life to make me question His faithfulness in every other area? 👣 TAKE A WALK WITH HIM: Tonight, read Psalm 13.
