@570stitchbarn: This fall’s low water is part of a scheduled drawdown for dam inspections, maintenance, and hydroelectric testing something that happens about every five years! As the water recedes, it reveals sections of the lakebed, rocks, old tree stumps, and remnants of the valley’s history from before the lake was created in 1926. The lake is expected to refill gradually after the maintenance work. Our lake is looking a little different this fall! 💙 #lakewallenpaupack #poconos #poconosmountains #hawley #pennsylvania
