@kaizenpath3: Getting out of the doubt that surrounds me starts with recognizing how often I’m the one keeping it alive and that I have a say in the story I keep telling myself. @Profound pondering @theelijahgauldin thank you. I’m 27, pursuing my master’s in electrical engineering, and building the skills to become an AI engineer. I want to radically change my life, and there’s a lot of distance between where I am and where I want to go. People will question it. Some days, I will too. I can look at my experience, my workload, and everything I haven’t figured out yet and find plenty of reasons to doubt myself. That’s okay. I don’t need certainty to take the next step. But I’m paying attention to the story I tell myself along the way. If I keep calling myself incapable, behind, or unrealistic, those words start shaping the choices I make. That’s why I’m becoming more intentional about what I consume and whose voices I let into my day. I want reminders that change is possible while I’m doing the work to make it happen. Encouragement gives me courage to try. Keeping promises to myself gives me evidence to believe. I can appreciate who I am today and still want something radically different for my future.
