Is Maya Bay worth the hype?🐠🐟 Maya Bay is one of the most famous beaches in Thailand, so we felt like we should see what all the fuss was about while staying in Phi Phi. We set off early, aiming to beat the crowds by arriving for the 7am opening, however it seemed like everyone else had the same plan. While this video doesn’t quite capture it, the beach was packed! Which definitely took out the charm of what is a beautiful spot. We are not sure what the best time to visit would be, but maybe the afternoon, once the morning rush had finished That being said, the white sand was unlike anything we had ever felt before, so soft it was almost like flour. We also saw a shark in the waters.
