When my mom died I missed a month of work (approved by my boss) because I had to do everything including cleaning her house out by myself. (She was a hoarder.) When I finally came back, an older coworker asked me if I “enjoyed my vacation.” She knew my mom died…. 😬 Everyone knew my mom died.
