It takes me a lot of time to get out of my car. Sometimes I cannot leave my house. Autistic catatonia, ADHD paralysis, autistic burnout, restraint collapse.

That makes so much sense. I never understood how people had the energy to do *anything* after work. Blew my mind! Now I get it. Wow…

I don’t even need to get home. I work upstairs. Getting home is coming downstairs, sitting, feel hunger, eat chips, then going back up to bed. Probably still hungry. But it’s not a burrito I’ll go hungry. Oh boy 😳.

I'm always home. I retired two years ago. 😂 but after long event and festivals, I will just lay there for a while on the couch.

Yes, that’s me! And I need to care for an elderly person when I get home. Now I’m 60 and struggle to do anything for myself.

No, I’ll tell you why: I wear headphones constantly when I’m not at work….so my book/podcast moves with me. Most night no energy to eat, so I just skip it.

I get home and I stand and scroll. I am afraid to sit because I don’t want to get too tired to get back up again and I tell myself I need to do my “chores” (take care of animals and 1-2 of whatever the most urgent cleaning tasks at the moment) before I can sit and relax. But I can’t put my phone down so instead I stand on tired sore feet, leaning, on one leg, while I scroll and maybe do 1-2% of my task every couple of minutes… I want to break down the mental barrier that is preventing me from just taking a seat and allowing myself some transition time that I so desperately need. It’s like my body is the angel on one shoulder being like “please sit, you need rest!” And my brain is the devil on my other shoulder being like “don’t you dare be lazy and sit or you won’t get enough done before bed!” Hate it!
