@theirishtribune: “Lou Holtz: 60 Minutes to Play and a Lifetime to Remember,” a documentary about Lou Holtz and the 2009 Notre Dame Japan Bowl, will play at South Bend’s Bendix Arena Thursday, 10/22. Holtz, the Hall of Famer and legendary Notre Dame head coach who is the last coach to lead the Irish to a National Title (1988), passed away in March at the age of 89. 17 years earlier, in 2009, Holtz came out of retirement to coach what would be his final football game, the Notre Dame Japan Bowl. The documentary gives a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the legendary coach as he rallied a team of alumni players as old as 52 years to challenge the best players in Japan inside the Tokyo Dome. The event will include a Q&A with former Notre Dame football players that will be moderated by Reggie Brooks with Ted Mandell, in addition to Chris Zorich and Kris Haines. There will also be a meet and greet and autograph signing with current Notre Dame players at Four Winds Field as part of the four-day event.
