There is just so much more to that story!! She started joining the academy at 12 years old, and had just lost her mother. So she was living with her grandparents. There were at least two or three other police officers from that same academy that were having regular sexual encounters with her as a minor as well, including Matthews’s twin brother!! He was actually the one who impregnated her, but obviously none of them knew that at the time she was still alive. The entire police department tried to lock this case up as quickly as possible and rule it as a self-inflicted one. Just horrible.
