Shawn Spencer and Elliot Spencer (Leverage) being extremely proficient in firearms but not using them bc they don't need to...

AND THEY STILL CHOSE TO TURN HIM DOWN HALF THE TIME HE ASKED FOR A GUN I swear the only person that truly knew Shawn was a beast was his father cause he would hand him a gun with the quickness

I know most psych fans hate the first episode but for me this scene was when the show snagged my attention.

Comic Dweller :
Or when they 100% kept this idea and many many seasons later when neither Lassiter nor his several decade experienced father could make the shot, he made a great shot at a grate on a moving speeding truck while he was dangling from a speeding cars hood with a bullet wounded leg that had been bleeding him dizzy for 24 hours.

He’s like Batman - never going to use a gun if he doesn’t have to - but you better pray he doesn’t have to

If he hit dead center on the target that would have been one thing BUT HE MATCHED HER EVERY SHOT hes so cool bro

Ken Buper :
This would be a good way to present accuracy vs precision. Accuracy is off cuz he missed bullseye (or wherever he was supposed to aim for), but precision is great because he hit the same holes each time

See this up in the pilot, and he will shot a gun exactly 1 time for the rest of the show, at a car engine

Ik people hate that we barely see him use a gun for the series but it’s one of my favorite things about him; dude is nothing but contradictions and him being great with a gun but never using one is a really fun way that manifests

He was literally raised by a cop and everyone is surprised he knows how to do stuff. He chooses not to.

I love Psych through and through, and I’m nearing the end of what has to be my 20th rewatch. But I do wish they hadn’t dumbed him down/clowned him up after the first few seasons.

There's also that one time he asked for a gun to save Gus and no one would give him one.
