It’s literally science. If a women decided to have an “abortion” at 36 weeks because she suddenly decided after 30 weeks of knowing she was pregnant, the baby would live and the doctors would take care of the baby and the parent could surrender them. It’s so dumb. People really think term babies are being “aborted” and euthanized at bedside. It’s not biologically sound

I technically had an abortion after 20wks. I think many people don’t understand that the word abortion in medical and insurance terms doesn’t always mean terminating a live pregnancy. Years ago, my son had passed in utero and I chose a D&E but was billed for an abortion on my insurance. Some people don’t understand that denying women abortion related care can be denying them health care that is needed.

Pregnancy is ROUGH on the body. No women are going through this to this point to abort the baby by choice. You don’t run a race, approach the finish line and just say “Nevermind!” The only reason you wouldn’t cross is because of something catastrophic: the race was canceled.
