@charlesmcgnarles: Sky high utility bills are crushing people in Los Angeles. #ladwp #losangeles #california #costofliving #abc

I was told this 10 years ago. A credit will come. 20 years later water was shut off at the street. Had to pay $3800 to be turned back on. Now I live in fear of the local thug gang. The LADWP.

This is a Band-Aid. It’s not making any changes going forward.! This isn’t about only our Summer charges. It’s about charges all year long that are too high.. but Summer of course is higher.

Lauren C Pratt :

We kept our thermometer at 80° all summer, showered at the gym, turned off sprinklers letting our grass and yard die … still $2000 for a 1200 sqft house.

LosAngelesWatchPanda :

By the way Dave Hanson made 400k in pay and benefits last year

CoyoteStoriez :

mine went to 8000 then shut off I had to pay 2000 to reconnect ⁶

deltadeltameow :

That means we’re still stuck paying for the gouge of dwp. We want our rates cut back to normal

Nonie :

Is it me or does the guy from DWP look like the Monopoly man?

GoBroncos :

Unacceptable!!! I’m even more pissed! Bass’s response is total BS and Nithia Raman says she’ll create change when she has been on the LA Council oversight of the LADWP 😡
