I was in the same situation as u. I got q num 5 out of 400+ applicants. I back out from my resale as the SBF unit was around the same balance years but it was 100k+ cheaper. I lost the deposit but I gain a cheaper unit with room for appreciation next 10 to 15years. so u must do your own calculations rather than agent advise as they definitely want u go for the resale so they can close a deal. u have any questions, u can DM me and I show u the calculation of possiblity of appreciation and for your future investments
