I'm genuinely surprised that they haven't moved on this already. given how absolutely incompetent and short-sighted this regime is, it speaks volumes to me that they couldn't quite get up the fervor among their circle of yes-man true believers to make the war hot again until elections were imminent. Naturally they don't care who they hurt but themselves, so they must really think they're firing bullets into their own feet.
