you’re doing really well i just feel like the barrel is too big because your hair is shorter. so basically the shorter the hair the smaller the barrel should be

I think we got confused when you said curling your hair but instead you are just looking for a wave, defo looks much better you might be better to try a narrower barrel, that one is quite chunky for short hair x

I'm sorry I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer or anything, but I think you're still doing it wrong. you're not supposed to let the pieces like look crimpy they're supposed to look more curled. So What I would say is you have to bulldog hold it roll up but hold it more on an angle and opposite directions on both sides. so one towards the left one towards the right and then you let it go down in a spiral and now you have a curl
