Lived in the Four Seasons, Singapore for 2 years, then The Fullerton for 18 months, then Sheraton KL for a year +. Hotel life is great.

Doesn’t that assume that the room price never changes? You’re not guaranteed the same price every day. Some days during peak season it could double or triple.

There are luxury apartments in Overland Park/Kansas city KS that cost less than $1600 a month for 1 bedroom unit that includes free gym, pool, coffee, beer, snack, and the internet. The living experience over in the Asia can not match what the Midwest offers but when it comes to saving its a no brainer.

funnily enough there are sick condos in Kuala Lumpur in skyscrapers with the amenities (pools, gym, social areas) for less than £1k per month. some have housecleaning included too
