Do i think because a husband doesnt take pictures it means hes a bad husband? In some cases, maybe. But for me, my husband did not have the *HABIT* of documenting. He had less 50 photos in his camera roll before my kids were born. We’ve helped thousands of families get mom in candids and heres what works: 1. Ask him and tell him this means a lot to you that your kids will see you in their memories too. 2. Get him to set up reminder in his phone when he spends the most time with the fam 3. Look for candid everyday moments, they dont have to be huge milestone moments. Snuggles, reading a book, bedtime, out for a walk. Once he begings the HABIT of documenting it will become more natural. Now, how do we make sure the pics and dare i say *videos* actually look good? TIPS FOR MAKING THE PHOTOS LOOK GOOD: 1. Capture in live mode because its a 1.5 second video clio and you can change the keyframe (aka if you eyes are half closed you can salvage the photo). 2. Get to the same eye level so theres no weird ass angles 3. TAKE AT LEAST 4 PHOTOS. We like OPTIONS. Just back ti back. 4. DO NOT interupt the moment and tell mom and kid “look here”. We want the moment to be candid and natural. These are just a few tips.
