@ankitrvpoa8: One of Industry’s most disturbing storylines centers on Yasmin and her father, Charles Hanani. Their relationship is deeply toxic, with Charles repeatedly humiliating and mistreating his daughter. During a confrontation aboard his yacht, Yasmin finally tells him that she wishes he would die. Charles then jumps overboard, seemingly as a way of calling her bluff. For a moment, Yasmin is frozen and doesn’t act. When she finally tries to get help, it is too late, and Charles drowns. The tragedy leaves Yasmin carrying enormous guilt because, although she didn’t directly kill her father, she also didn’t save him when she had the chance. The incident becomes one of the defining traumas of her story, while Harper helps her conceal what happened. Interesting Facts * Charles Hanani is Yasmin’s father and a disgraced publishing magnate. * His death is revealed in Season 3, Episode 6, “Nikki Beach, or: So Many Ways to Lose.” * Yasmin’s relationship with Charles had been portrayed as deeply abusive and disturbing throughout the season. * The series deliberately leaves the morality of Yasmin’s actions complicated rather than presenting it as a straightforward murder. * The aftermath permanently changes Yasmin and Harper’s relationship. #Industry #HBO #usamovies #CharlesHanani #tvdrama
