Arabic names are different from Islamic names. Islamically u can give name to ur wards which is not related to Shrik eg Suhiyini, Wumpini are good.

Know the difference between Muslim name and Arabic name. The most important thing is the meaning and origin of the name . I can’t give a name that has idol background to my child , not matter melodic the name may sound like. Some names are praises for deities and other things that related to idols. This applies to both foreign and local names .
