It’s an industry issue from techs fault to Managment fault. They want profit profit profit. Hurry hurry hurry. There’s appts on the boards it’s been there for 30 min. “We need to hurry” customers pissed off etc etc. Greedy. And that’s when cutting corners starts happening. Unfortunately customers pays for it in time and money and managers hit bonuses. A lot of managers out there’s with no integrity and honesty wich is what keeps a business running. This industry is every man for himself self.

This sounds strange but I have done brake sliders pins on a Honda Civic and in 12 hours after cleaning the sliders and lube the pins. The two pins on one side were seized again. Had the clean with a drill bit, WD 40 and paper towels to clean it again, but this time never used lube and never had a problem again. Yes it sounds very odd, but true.

"We don't have a technician shortage. We have a quality technician shortage" It's not hard to find a mechanic.... It's REALLY hard to find a GOOD mechanic. And MAYBE if the field paid better, good mechanics would return.

cost nothing to just take a paint brush and degreaser put a drain tray underneath and clean hub brake disc and all parts to do with brakes and hubs

These techs would make sure to do it to their car if they had same issues. But dgaf for customers. Why? Is it because they know they can get more money doing brake jobs over and over?
