Oh and we aren’t going to tell you this now but we also have the book fair set up in the cafeteria where we will enjoy our popsicles so your kids will beg you to buy a $25 paperback book they will never read and $37 worth of little toys and erasers that the dog will chew up later that day.

I have two kids in different grades so at different schools. Both schools are having a Halloween parade next Friday 1, so not only do I have to take a half day at work, I have to be in two places at the same time.

let's not forget the Sunday night phone call, a week before Christmas, informing parents that Monday is Dress Like the Grinch Day, Tuesday is Abominable Snowman Day, Wednesday is Dress Like a Christmas Tree Day, Thursday is Santa's Workshop Day, and Friday is Dress Like Your Favorite Christmas Movie Character Day.

Not every kid have a dad, a mother, or grandparents. These things got to stop. Not every parent can afford to miss a work day to attend either. Maybe if y'all have the guts and you still have your late loved ones ashes, take the urn with you for those. See how quickly the school change their tone. Sorry, lil Jimmy's dad have to attend in a jar. Lizzie bear's mom is with us in spirit and an urn. Or heck! take a Halloween display skeleton, so here's grandma and grandpa is too deep to dig up, he'll have to miss it! gesture to hand those things to the teachers and staff, heck pretend hand it to the principals!

Legit. Yesterday was wear orange for kindness and my kids were hysterical at 10pm bc we didn’t have orange shirts & I wasn’t going out to buy them special colored shirts
