this is what i’m trying to realize myself rn. i’m a junior in college & have just started the process of getting an internship & the constant meetings stresses me out so bad bc of my nerves, but i keep reminding myself it’s best i get this over w now at 20 than at 25-30, where im wishing i took the opportunity when it was basically handed to me.. im certain there’s so many ppl who wish they were in my position rn so i just gotta thug it out

I actually made an uncomfortable decision today that i knew would help me and develop me into the person i want to become. It was hard but i know it will be worth one day.

This is exactly what I’ve been telling myself because if I don’t make those uncomfortable decisions I’ll be disappointed in myself for not trying to live more freely. I’m trying to plan to go to a music festival, I’ve always backed out of concerts because I get scared of traveling + unfamiliar places + big crowds. I’ve always regretted it, this year I’m going to try to have courage, the courage to live and actually experience.
