@belluzcoplin: Discussion on the future of the Chicago Bears and the potential move to Hammond, Indiana, highlighting the differences in support from Illinois versus Indiana. What are your thoughts on this stadium proposal? #ChicagoBears #HammondIndiana #SportsBusiness #StadiumDevelopment #NFL
100% Agree. And the people mad that the bears are leaving have only themselves to blame for voting blue straight down the ticket.

Anyone that says they’re done being fans aren’t really fans to begin with!!! Too many teams already play in cities that aren’t the namesake. Only way attendance will go down is they start playing really bad, but even then, you still have the faithful. And a brand new BILLION dollar stadium.

the Bears aren't moving to Hammond. the entire area is oil refineries and steel mills. no team would purposely move there. none.

The Bears aren’t moving to Indiana, they’re just trying to pressure Illinois into giving them leverage for a better deal. If they wanted Indiana so bad they would have already started building thefr

as a bears fan that's gone to 2 games in my 37 years, I could care less where they play. I rather watch it on my TV

If Illinois is so hard to work with how did the Chicago fire and the northwestern wildcats both get new stadiums? That alone tells u it’s not Illinois that’s hard to work with it’s the bears

I won’t get taxed for the stadium, and it would be a 20-30 minute drive? Sign me up

Let them go! And then get a NEW team in the Stadium. The Indy Bears will be fine and so will the new Chi team. The new Chicago football team will SELL OUT at the Stadium no question. I’d hate to see the Bears leave but I’m also ok with embracing a new chapter in Chicago sports!🏈

If the McCasky family move their team to Indiana, then the city of Chicago State of IL will sue for the rights to the "Bears" name and win in court because there is prexedent with Cleveland when they sued and kept the Browns name. Then the McCasky's can rename themmir team to the Indiana Scarecrows because there's nothing but corn in Indiana. Then a new Bears team will emerge in IL and the fanbase - and Chicago and IL state - will be rid of the McCasky nonsense for good.

Promising the world and actually delivering are two different things. Where is Hammond getting the $$$ to get the ball rolling before the Stadium is built. I agree once it is done Hammond will reap the rewards if they can keep their end of the bargin.

It would be nice to have a new stadium on the lake front but most people watch on TV anyway.
