Wash Day Fail: The different routine details👇 They, The Internet, Comment Section, Trending Curly Influencers etc kept saying to try these things so we did…& Immediately regretted it. As a mom i have to legit plan wash days and curly content around naps so to spend it on this (which is Day 1 btw) had me so annoyed 😩The Curly Hair Tips I wish I didn’t follow: 👉🏻Use Curl Cream not a leave in 👉🏻Only Brush / Detangler in shower (I did brush the curl cream through tho i’m sorry ) 👉🏻Scrunch gel into hair 👉🏻Plopping before drying 👉🏻Clarifying Shampoo Other Tip: 3 horizontal sections for no part & volume (I started this technique and had to stop, it cause so much wet frizz and my hair felt so knotty) 🤷🏻‍♀️The Products I Tried & don’t love for me: 1 Curl Cream (only used it once so don’t feel comfortable naming) 2. Gel (Rizzo Strong Hold, LA Looks Strong Hold, the doux) thinking of trying Ouidad climate control gel next I heard mixed reviews but my fav is sold out right now .. ⭐️ Regular Products & Routine I’m happy to detail my FULL routine, send tutorials or voice note you directions but here’s the overview: 👉🏻Brush Product Through 👉🏻Curl Train stubborn or face framing peices (Up & Away gives you volume) 👉🏻Section Hair (honestly sometimes I just section off the crown to save time) 👉🏻Pulse & Root Scrunch with microfiber towel ⭐️Products in my Regular Routine👇 👉🏻❤️My fav 4-in-1 leave in: Detangler, split end mender, moisturizer & heat protectant that gives such good slip to my curls! I get better curl clumps when i use this & it eliminates my wet frizz 👉🏻☁️Mousse : Volume, light cast to reduce frizz 👉🏻💧💪Hydrate & Hold Gel: If you DONT want a super strong cast or crunch & have dry hair this gel is great! my curls feel so soft & shiny when i use this.
