As a family man with 3 kids, and owning a single family house, there is not a single, not one, aspect of this new Pembroke development that interests us, whatsoever. Maybe older, retired folks like more housing being built to suck up all their SS money, not it all means nothing to families. Zero. Young adults? Maybe, but I doubt it. They don't gather and mingle nearly as much as people think they do. It's doomed to failure.

I dearly miss the original Pembroke mall. It had everything you could need under one roof and reasonably priced.

Non affordable living I'm sure. We have sooooooo many hotels, apartments and shopping. I wish they would drop that money on the HRBT. Our taxes are building it amd then we will have to pay to cross it. Pay that money towards all of these rolled roads in Tidewater!!!!😳

I MISS THE OLD PEMBROKE MALL. I DO NOT CARE FOR THE OVER DEVELOPMENT OF VIRGINIA BEACH. IT IS NOT THE TOWN TURNED CITY I GREW UP IN THE 1970S.

Just went to the Draftcade in the old Pembroke Mall and almost cried. I grew up in the mall, work there for over 20 years, and can’t believe I just drove through the mall to get to the Draftcade. Funnybones is right next door.

i like the concept but i also miss being able to go to diff malls if ur looking for something. we have lost Mccarthur whuch was my fave, Pembrike, and pretty much Greenbrier as well. i kind of wish they would of changed it to look more like Peninsula town center in Hampton and made it an outdoor mall along with some more restaurants so it would still be a mall
