How many people are really out there choosing between these two phones? I’m not choosing between the Samsung and Apple. I’m choosing between my current iPhone, the 18 pro, and the duo. Most people are committed to one ecosystem or the other. And if you were going to bail on Apple to go for an android foldable, you probably would have already done it.

Fold 8 is by far the best form factor. Optimization too for now but that’s really something that can change overnight. But I’m deeply in-trenches and used to the Apple ecosystem, so preference wise, I’d go for the duo.

One of the reasons Samsung stopped allowing to use the phone folded is nobody really used it like that. Also, having it folded messed up the screen protector much faster. It bubbled right at the crease.
