мне очень нравится, как подобрали рыб. сельдяной король считается предвестником несчастья, бедствия. рыба удильщик считается символом выживания, экстремальных условий и просто опасности. изоподы – санитары, которые поедают умершие остатки. "обычных", привычных рыб она видит в иллюминаторе только в начале, когда в батискафе ещё было достаточно воздуха

Огромная селдь она же сельдяной король (рыба-ремень) у японцев считается предвестником беды и природных катаклизмов. На большой глубине, пепел падающий сверху, как правило является останками, то есть падалью которой питаются некоторые глубоководные существа. С галлюцинациями тоже все понятно, при гипоксии, мозг начинает сбоить и неправильно воспринимать реальность, вроде как из-за выброса дофамина, но тут я не уверен
