When we lived in South Texas, we’d walk into H-E-B and see your pictures all over the store. My little boy, who we also call JJ, would get SO excited every time he saw you! Your name was actually one of the first names he learned to say, and those H-E-B trips became extra special because of you. ❤️Fast forward to today, and that little boy is now 15, still following your career, still calling you his favorite player, and playing football partly because of the impact you had on him. So beyond congratulations on your new role, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being someone young athletes can look up to, not just for what you did on the field, but for the example you’ve set along the way. You’ve made an impact on a kid you’ve never met, and I’m sure there are countless others just like him. That’s a pretty incredible legacy. Congratulations, JJ! 👏🏈
