as if fashion merchandising isn’t a type of business major 🤨

I love this movie, but the idea Harvard even debated accept Elle because her bachelor degree was in fashion merchandising was hilarious. She held a 4.0 GPA, she held many extra curricular roles especially leadership roles in college. Plus she got a 179 on the LSAT. That puts her into the top bracket of applicants (only 0.02-0.1% of test takers get this score). She’d be a shoe in. Heck they’d probably be offering her scholarships! She’d get into any top law school.

this is what i disliked most about the musical. 179 is a CRAZY LSAT score and proved how smart she is. WHY did they make it an even 175 in the musical?? those 4 points matter!!! it still would've rhymed!!!!!

Fun fact law schools don’t really care about your major as long as you pass the LSAT and maintain good standing lol

she was buggin because law schools seek out diversity in undergrad degrees and she was hella smart too. a 175+ plus a good gpa will get you in most anywhere

It’s ironically quite realistic. Law schools enjoy having a candidate who is completely different from the rest. She had the grades and extracurriculars, what got her in was that she has a unique point of view. Which ends up being shown in the sequel.

YES! Even when Warner still didn’t take her back after getting into the SAME school, Elle still stayed for herself and SUCCEEDED! 💖

The history of polka dots is actually robust and fascinating while we are here! They were originally quite controversial as an artistic statement.
