I put together this quick DJI Osmo Action 6 guide to help you understand some of the settings I use when shooting cars, travel, events, action shots, and everyday content. In this carousel, we’re breaking down: 🎥 4K resolution 🎞️ 24 / 30 / 60 FPS ☀️ ISO and exposure ⏱️ Shutter speed 🕶️ ND filters 🎨 D-Log M + 10-bit color 🔥 RockSteady stabilization 🚗 Settings for car and action footage 🌙 Tips for shooting in different lighting conditions One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that there isn’t one “perfect” setting for every situation. Your settings should change depending on the lighting, movement, frame rate, and type of shot you’re trying to create. For cinematic footage, I like starting with 4K and choosing my frame rate based on the shot. 24 or 30 FPS works great for normal cinematic footage, while 60 FPS gives you more flexibility for fast-moving shots and smooth slow motion. Exposure matters too. Keeping your ISO under control can help you get a cleaner image, while your shutter speed affects how natural the motion in your footage looks. When you’re shooting outside in bright sunlight, an ND filter can help you control the amount of light entering the camera.
