Forecasters have issued urgent warnings for damaging winds, heavy rain, and potential travel chaos as the back-to-back systems take hold. An amber wind warning is in place from 1am to 10am for Devon and Cornwall as Storm Austen arrives. Exposed coastal regions within the warning area are expected to face destructive gusts of 60 to 70mph, with some spots potentially reaching up to 80mph. Yellow weather warnings have also been issued for much of the remaining parts of England.
