@stephandden: Do you think you’re bad with money? 😕 If you do, you’re *probably* holding yourself back. EVERYONE is capable of being good with money - and yes, we mean everyone! Most relationships have a ‘money person’ - that’s the person who’s ‘better’ with money, and therefore handles the money in the relationship (aka makes the decisions, literally pays the bills, etc). The thing is, most of the time, for a relationship to thrive over the long-term, both people need to be confident with money. That doesn’t mean that one person can’t still handle money-related tasks… …but you both need to at least feel like you’re capable of being ‘good with money’, and can have the tough financial conversations together. The key to building a good money - and specifically investing - routine in a relationship is bringing your partner along with you, not making them depend on you.
