You can try using sounds. I have a sun conure and I make a sharp "psst" sound to get her to stop doing something. At first it was to distract, but she eventually learned it meant she was doing something she shouldn't be.

i have a green conure and whenever he gets aggressive and won't stop biting i just put him back in his cage for atleast 2 hours like a timeout and after a couple times he connected the cause and effect and rarely ever bites anymore

I may be wrong here, but isn’t that considered grooming to them? If not grooming, then socialization. I had parakeets growing up and my little guy was…overweight, we feed him only millet. The vet said to change his diet, and that them being a “pest” to us all the time was bird socializing. So f they didn’t like us, they would avoid us, but if they liked us, they “picked on us”. Birds are bully’s, confirmed
