@myhomesteadcottage: We’ve been living in our little cottage for over 2 years now, and there is still so much I want to do to make it more “homey.” From fully renovating the whole house from the roof to the crawlspace, we’ve been taking it slow to see what the house evolves into as we continue to live here and grow our family… so for a while it felt empty and lacking in character and charm like what I see (and want) on SM and Pinterest… But it’s on days like today, when the sun is shining through the curtains, I have a hot cup of coffee, with homemade sourdough and fresh butter on a pretty plate, and I can read fall-time stories to my son and then the house feels like a warm hug, and it really feels like home. 🍂🍁🍎 #sahmomlife #homedecorating #homeownershipjourney #motherhood #homeaesthetic gentle cozy mornings simple morning glories fresh roses sourdough bread morning golden light
