Any churches not actively supporting the homeless people and the homelessness problem should looses their tax status! That’s the only reason they don’t pay taxes and they don’t even do it!

lies!!! there is no way. when rent is $2000 for a 1 bedroom apartment or 2700 for a 2br. no one can afford to buy a house.... unless you make over 150k a year

It there was a cap on rental fees and a landlord was not allowed to raise the rent as long as the tenants lived there, there wouldn’t be such a huge homeless problem. I am one paycheck from being homeless and I am employed. As soon as I get a $1 raise at work my rental fees go up 😬. Not to mention my car almost dying on me and I need it to work because my job requires it as I do home visits. I can’t afford the repairs. It’s stressful barely being able to afford rental fees and gas. If my car brakes down I can’t work, if I can’t work, I am homeless with a child. 😢
