i dont say its right wht the guy did but retail manager treat the lower stuff like sht they dont respect or value their employees opinion situations and time they talk to them they want to and treat people like they not human some people isnt that strong mentally to just bare their nonsense and let it slide. respect ur co-workers listen to them and try to help where u can thts why they become managers to take care of the store they're stuff not to drive people of a cliff like wht happn in boxer

true and very sad...we all have unknown problems and stress. but there's true no justification about this, what if losing this job would have opened more better opportunities, our nation is not optimistic. as a cleaner and construction worker i never learned i could be in corporate until i was fired.

I never worked in a retail.However Boxer proves to be toxic work environment in that: 1. An employee requesting leave proves that he recognized managers and had respect for authority. 2. A conflict of interest existed as the very same managers who refused the man a lawful request were involve in his disciplinary hearing.It will therefore not be a fair and bias free hearing and investigation. 3.Since when; a male employee can be subjected to a disciplinary hearing by three women only and who had prior knowledge of the case?Does boxer try to say in all of its branches there was no male representative? 4.In all likelyhood;boxer was entitled to discipline the male employee.However the dismissal sanction was too harsh for the employee concern. 5.Boxer had a full responsibility to protect employees including the late managers.An employee walking into the employer premises with a dangerous weapon is solid grounds to hold the company liable.

We get humiliated at work I was dismiss at work for taking my annual leave that HR agreed on because of bullying and toxic behavior they do not want to pay me my provident fund and annual leave remaining days. I was harassed physically attacked they I laid grievance I was give me final warning instead of fixing the problem

Yes ir is most satisfactory that nthing an justify murder. But now that is too late. There are many things that are overlooke in the wrkace. U til those whoare in authority realise that people need to be resected regardless of the osition they ccuy such incidents will be eliinted but as long as the privilege fail to excesise the basic conditions of employment act witgin South African context such incidents may escalate
