Steedzy :

I don’t think he would allow it to be called “Piano Man”

Dorothy I’m Not :

I saw a two part biopic last year. Maybe HBO? It was good about 3 hrs.

Derek :

Agree 💯 I hope you get it made. You are extremely talented. Side note : I think of Eyes Wide Shut whenever I see The Stranger album cover 🎭 😂

BohoRitzie :

Love that ‘Backstreet Guy’! I’ve seen Billy Joel play so many times at the Garden!!! He wrote such romantic songs about love was surrounded by so many people, yet he always seemed to have a lonely soul. Maybe that’s why his music touches so many hearts.💕 ✨✨✨

runawayjim1970 :

The title is “Big Shot”.

Steven Axelrod :

Great idea! Casting?

RaineyRita :

Billy Joel and Olivia Rodrigo performing at Madison Square Garden with older and new fans.....credits roll🤗💜

The reason why there’s no Billy Joel biopic is because he never truly recovered from his alcoholism fueled by feelings of inadequacy and inferiority being abandoned by his maestro musical father. What’s the cathartic release for the audience to follow a man suffering from addiction getting everything he wants (fame, money, women, family, including reunion and reconciliation with his father—and long lost brother) and doesn’t change anything about his destructive alcohol habit that gets so bad that he develops medical issues that prevent him from being able to drive and perform concerts? That movie was already made; it’s Bradley Cooper’s “a star is born” and the only way that people can go on that journey, is if you follow the woman’s redemption and liberation from that destructive tragic man. Through either the lens of his daughter Alexa or second wife Christie Brinkley. (Remember, he stole his best friend’s wife too. Woof!)
