This why I always tell people we need to bring back actually knowing our neighbors!!! When we moved in, we introduced ourselves to all 12 houses on my street so they know what my son looks like and left them a card with my/dad’s phone numbers. My son got out one time while I was taking the trash out and two separate neighbors chased him down. Came back inside to also having a missed call from a different neighbor. 🥹

I did this before. Saw a 6 year old on the main road. Called the school to find his mom. I waited with him and when his mom came she didn’t say anything to me. I was like ummm I saved your child on a busy street

And this is why insurance should approve strollers for bigger kids. They denied me and the people who are helping me get it submitted and appeal along with a letter from his pediatrician stating that it is needed. The kids get stronger and faster.

Man this hurt my heart. Not noticing your special needs child is gone for so long is scary. Ppl take naps and things happen. Lord I pray for all of us specially the special needs children and caretakers.

As a mom I can understand why you said “do you wanna play with her?” In your fight or flight moment you assumed she’d want to come to you if your daughter had played with her. It would have been interesting for her to play with another child vs running. A distraction! I get it mama. Good job! However yeah I do understand the term and the roasts haha
