I have 3 step kids. I’ve never cared 😂I just act like a fun aunt. I don’t clean, cook, drive or do anything. I go to Pilates gym and work late when they come.

Do I stop caring about the laziness?.. because that’s the part that drives me insane I like my house CLEAN and expect my children to do the bare minimum & clean up after themselves and have respect & omg it’s lacking!

So so true!! There’s times where I just have to stop and remind myself, who cares. At the end of the day he’s technically not mine not my problem. It sounds harsh but it’s the reality.

I am trying very hard this year to just worry about me. Using the LET THEM theory. NOT MY MONKEY NOT MY PROBLEM. Letting dad handle his responsibilities. Just clean up after yourself. It’s hard to “not care” while the kid is here full time with a deadbeat mom and a working seven days a week dad.
