Instead of Halloween, we experienced All Saints’ Day, when families visit cemeteries to honor loved ones. As night falls, thousands of candles illuminate the graves, creating one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. What I thought would be a difficult trip became something truly special. We ran into family and friends of my grandparents, shared memories, and felt connected to them all over again.
