As someone who‘s favorite has always been John, Paul was 100% without a doubt the greatest songwriter, musician and singer in the group

I’ll catch hell for this, but John may have founded or started the Beatles but when everything was said and done right up until their split, Paul was the Beatles!

As somebody who is not a humongous fan and just enjoys their music to me, it's always been clear. Paul is the best. he was the front man. he was the soul. he was the life. I have no bias because cuz I don't care enough to have one

Well, you’re AI. You were literally made for this. But if you’ve actually studied the Beatles, how can you possibly deny that John was the soul and leader of the band? When Paul took over they dindt survived. And thats a fact.

As someone who has listened to the band for over 40 years, I believe that the Lennon-McCartney duo—while diametrically opposed—were complementary; each brought their own unique flavor to the mix. To be honest, however, from 1965 onwards, McCartney became increasingly dominant, steering the recording sessions and contributing new ideas for the albums—in fact, it was his songs that topped the charts.

So we’re going off to say Paul is the best based off of work ethic based off of other members, but we aren’t supposed to take interviews or words from them into account when we’re supposed to be focused on their music alone, because imo in terms of the Beatles music alone I’d say John is the best bringing in most of psychedelic sound for the pepper years and even on revolver with the recording techniques he aimed for with as artificial double tracking or reversed sounds on tomorrow never knows, there’s also his output of songs vs Paul’s which are very comparable and equal imo tho lenon was always the more experimental of the two
