I am writing to ask for an explanation, and I hope we can resolve this without further steps. On 18 October 2026 at 17:29, I posted a factual time-lapse video about Mount St Helens. The caption read: "As Mount St Helens begins to stir once again, here's a reminder of what happened in 1980. For Entertainment Purposes Only #ear#earthquakel#volcanoYour app has since removed the video and issued a second warning on my account. The only reason given was that the video "violates our Community Guidelines". By then it had around 80, 599 views, 963 likes, 45 comments and 125 saves. The notice does not say which guideline I broke, or which part of the video or caption caused the problem. I cannot put anything right if I am not told what is wrong. [My previous account was also banned without a reason being given after 1.2 M views / I appealed in the app on 15/01/2024 and the outcome was ‘no response’ Please could you: 1. Tell me which specific Community Guideline you say the video breached, and why. 2. Tell me whether the decision was made by automated systems, by a person, or both. 3. Arrange for a human reviewer to look at the video again, and restore it if it did not breach your rules. 4. Confirm that the warning will be removed from my account record if the removal was wrong. 5. Send me a copy of my personal data relating to this decision, including the moderation record and reasons. Please treat this as a subject access request under Article 15 of the UK GDPR. Please reply within 14 days of the date of this letter. I understand the data request has its own deadline of one month. Please also keep all records relating to this video and my account. I would much prefer to settle this directly.
