i dont know why people are getting on cancelos case, hes an attacking wingback whos in his 30s played the full 90 agaisnt psgs press and then was played out of posistion. its flicks tactical missteps that lead to the loss, he gave cancelo a task that he wasnt and never was built for.

Ik none of us could be in his position ofc but I just got Frustrated because it seems like he didn’t learn from his mistakes it’s psg of course it’s no where near easy but players like pedri adapted as best they could, i just didn’t see that from him that night but i love this player i think he’ll do great the rest of the season

If he makes the same defensive mistakes over and over and doesn’t try to improve he will be benched in the knockouts and he’ll be upset then, he lunges in to tackles against tricky wingers and gives away free kicks/pens/yellows, simply doesn’t follow his man for backpost runs, and doesn’t contribute enough to the linkup/chance creation when the margins are the tightest in biggest games, he was a short-term fix but not good enough

My chat is i know how good he is as a player i know how great he can perform so it leaves me puzzled I want to speak for everybody but for me personally having that bad of a performance in that type of game it just brings flashbacks of past seasons where you had araujo getting a red card you had the kounde performing badly so he just makes me unsure whether the performances he delivers can they be performed when the stakes are that high given we were playing the two time defending European champions so it makes me iffy going into the champions league and that's the same Bernal these players are good but that performance was horrible and for how good we are as a team to perform that badly it just kills the hope or maybe not kill it but it does something to it so I think that's where a lot of fans are getting frustrated from but that's just my take
