@_turnmypaige_: Replying to @JacobBCabot To clear it up, yes we are still under the 10 year structural warranty and hoping for Lennar to consider our case! 🙏 #lennarhomes #foundationrepair #homewarranty
yeah you need to hire your own independant structural engineer not one thats in bed with their warranty company for an unbiased true opinion, use that proof to submit the claim if they refuse the repair take it claims court bc that alone takes years better bot waste time with run arounds they want that warranty to lapse the kick you out the door

Melissa Ceseña | ATX Realtor :
Hi! I see you’re in ATX. GreenWorks Inspections has structural engineers on staff. I needed it for a client under contract and we were able to get them out to inspect and a report in our hands in less than a week. It’s pricey but it’s worth it. Those cracks are NOT cosmetic.

Honey, plain and simple, please get an ATTORNEY, START THE LAWSUIT. It’ll take time but keep making these videos! A class action of this kind is very easy to gather easy claims and proof. The damage you have goes past being “ fixed”. Don’t give up and DONT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! This is your home! 🏡

Spend money on a structural engineer. Then bill them for it or sue them.

Can you get a different inspector to come out to check it? It seems like they are trying to run out the clock on your warranty if it’s been going for years

Sorry, not cosmetic. Find and contact the regional/area VP and/or President via email only. Not on the phone. Get everything in writing. I had issues with a new build (different builder) and was shoved around for weeks. After putting everything in writing I suddenly had a fix scheduled 6 hours later. Good luck. From what I’ve seen you’re not the only one in TX.

Hire your own inspector to do the inspection. Once you've got that paper trail started, I would definitely hire a lawyer and then ask the lawyer what your next steps should be, seeing they are down playing your issue with structural problem with a new home.... I wouldn't wait around to long to do something about this.

get your own structural report done and have a lawyer send it to them

The only way you can get Lennar to do anything is the higher lawyer and force them into arbitration. These Lennar field care reps all followed the exact same script! They are trained to find any reason, valid , or not in order to deny your claim. At some point Lennar, as a whole needs to be held responsible! There needs to be congressional intervention and investigation into deceptive trade practices!

It’s not cosmetic. Lennar is notorious for building homes that do this
