@nys_dot: 👻 Day 5 of NYSDOT’s 13 Roads to Halloween 2: RESURFACED takes us deep into Tug Hill, where the winters are brutal, and some legends are even more chilling. ❄️💀 Just off State Route 177, Sears Pond Road is home to the legend of Tug Hill Annie, a mysterious young woman said to still haunt the sharp curves where she lost her life decades ago. Some motorists claim they’ve seen her gliding silently along the roadside, watching passing vehicles without ever making a sound. 👀 But what happens when you encounter Annie on a lonely stretch of road? 🎃 Take a ride with us to find out, and follow NYSDOT every day at 10 AM as we count down to Halloween! #13RoadsToHalloween #HauntedNY
Annie’s passed on, they did a seance a we bit back to help her to the other side ♥️

I’ve heard the story of her pushing a baby carriage. And at one time, a state trooper stopped to assist her, and he realized she was a ghost. He jumped it back in his car and took off.
