@theyummysoapco: It's lip balm season, and if you are having to apply your lip balm over and over again, but it's not soaking in, there's a reason for that! Sometimes we get a layer of dead skin cells on our lips that our body has not yet sloughed off. It's very easy to gently remove it and get that lip balm to soak in and hydrate. A simple sugar scrub is the perfect answer. Ideally, you want to use brown sugar. It has the right texture that will efficiently do the job and not tear up your skin. Mix a small amount of brown sugar and olive oil together to create something of a paste that hold together well. Gently exfoliate your lips and the skin right around your lips with your scrub. Be careful not to expand too far out onto the rest of your face. This scrub is too much for that delicate skin. Rinse it off and enjoy your lip balm! ##theyummysoap##everyingredientmatters##lipbalm##skincare##farmtoskin
