Smoothing the robot voice off is not the same as sounding like you. Three steps that actually move it. First, ban the tells: Wikipedia keeps a public page called Signs of AI writing that editors use to spot machine text. Tell Claude to read it and never do anything on that list in your drafts. The em dashes, the filler openers, the tidy summary at the end, all of it stops. Second, fill the blank with your voice. Paste five emails you actually sent and tell it to learn how you write: sentence length, greetings, the words you never use. Your sent folder already sounds like you on a normal day, which makes it the best writing sample you own. Third, tell it to save the whole setup as a reusable skill so you never explain it twice. And forget the AI detectors. The scores are guesswork in both directions.
