Luly Le Donne, originally from Mendoza, Argentina, opened the treasure that is @argentinianbakery more than 20 years ago, and this summer, the bakery moved into a brand-new, custom-built home. Now they're celebrating with a belated grand opening on 10/23 in the form of nothing other than a traditional Argentinian asado! A MENDOZA FAMILY STORY What makes this one special isn't just the new space... it's the family behind it! Luly's mother, whose recipe is behind the empanadas, is headed back home to Mendoza, so the family is taking a moment to celebrate this milestone together. After more than 20 years of sharing a taste of Argentina with North Texas, it feels right to throw a party and invite all of us in! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW * The belated grand opening celebration is Sunday, Oct. 25, with giveaways, samplings, a DJ, and more for customers. Argentina Bakery moved into its beautiful new location in late June, that gives all the Argentinian vibes with imagery of horses and gauchos, leather furniture and more. New this fall: they're now serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, so find Argentinian dishes from choripán to milanesa. And don't forget to end with a sweet treat à la dulce de leche! There's also now a full bar too - get ready for that Malbec! Those empanadas everyone talks about? They're Luly's mother's original recipe. A TRUE ARGENTINIAN GEM There aren't many places you can find Argentinian cuisine in the metroplex and not only is this one of them, but it's delicious and as authentic as it gets.
