damn I got so lucky and blessed by a friend to be able to buy my house in 2016 making 32k and got a 3$hr raise right after. secured my future. now o dont even make enough to do it again 10 yeats later....

I live near St Pete. The 2 bdr across the street from where I rent is listed for $415,000 ..housing down here is outrageous. Structurally, & if it were located anywhere else, it’s probably only worth $48-56k they’ve literally slapped some cheap vinyl flooring down & painted. Originally it’s what the old timers would refer to as a shotgun house.

& even that in 1978 my grandparents bought their house 4 bedroom 2 bath in Maine 🦞 on 3acres for $77,000 ... my grandfather was a plumber my grandmother stayed home with two kids, they paid off their house in 1999....
