The sad reality of rehoming dogs… and the part that breaks me every single time 💔 Every dog that comes into my life is special. But if I’m being honest, the ones who stay closest to my heart are the ones most people overlook — the adults, the seniors, the “ordinary” ones who don’t immediately catch attention. …. And you start to notice the pattern… because when a small, fluffy dog or a “popular” breed is posted, there are hundreds of messages within hours. It hurts. More than I can explain. Because I see them differently. I see their personality, their love, their potential, their loyalty — everything they have to offer. And I wish others could see that too. It makes me wonder… have we really reached a point where we only open our hearts to what looks “perfect” on the outside? Every dog has something beautiful to give. Some will give you calm companionship. Some will give you laughter. Some will give you a kind of love that only comes from being given a second chance. Dogs like Lina may not stand out at first glance… but they are often the ones who love the deepest. Please, when you choose to adopt — don’t choose based on expectations or appearance.
