It saddens me how African goddesses are so overlooked in such kinds of conversations, especially when African women and society are so matriarchal in nature

From an islamic perspective: the daughter of the prophet is named Fatimah Al-zahra. Alzahra is Venus in Arabic. It also means roses. Lady of the roses. She is also called the princess of heaven

Morning star is Venus in the morning, which is also Lucifer. And it’s based on translation. So, Greeks recognized a bright star in the morning and in the evening. They didn’t know they were the same. The bright star in the morning was called Phosphorus/eosphorus. Which respectively meant light-bringer/dawn-bringer. When the Romans translated “phosphorus” into “Lucifer”, which directly meant “Morning star”. Later, people read a story about the King of Babylon and his downfall being “Lucifer”. Translators incorrectly thought “Lucifer” was a person. It was referring to his hubris being as flashy as the morning star in the sky.

I am doing a similar archetype project. I have a spreadsheet and am collecting names from different Traditions that fit each of the archetypes, and even finding similarities in Arthurian mythology and fairy tales. I would love to share if you're interested. I have a Google spreadsheet so I could share the file. and yes, what you were trying to get at is that all of these women share the same frequency

They are all allegory for the heart. The heart is the balance point between the the higher self and lower self. 3 chakras below and 3 above the heart. It’s the bridge between the physical and spiritual world.

I’m Xhosa (South African) and we call Venus, Khwezi (‘iKhwezi lokusa’ lit. the morning star) which means “the morning star” or “the one that shines the brightest”. It’s a popular name for women: Khwezi, Nomakhwezi. It’s interesting how we’ve all observed Venus as a divine feminine in the sky.

After diving into astronomy, astrology and mythology and the correlations, it’s kinda hard not to see that the ancient world put their knowledge into stories so that it would not be forgotten and in its nature of telling gets you to think about what it’s saying without telling you
